Freestanding Crescent Moon

We will make a Freestanding Crescent Moon to order

  • Material of the main structure: black steel with durable powder coating.
  • Legs: 150 cm (59 in) long, made from rectangular, square, or round steel tubing.
  • Crescent Moon: as a rule, the overall size of the crescent is 130–140 cm (51–55 in) for children and 150–180 cm (59–71 in) for adult artists.
  • The Crescent Moon can be disassembled, making it easier to transport and store.

Rotation mechanism

  • Free and smooth rotation in both directions on bearings.
  • The outer shaft is made of hardened steel, while the inner shaft is made of stainless steel with a diameter of 30 mm (1.2 in).
  • The rotation mechanism operates on bearings: a tapered roller bearing is installed at the top and a standard ball bearing at the bottom.
  • If required, a locking latch can be installed to prevent the Crescent Moon from rotating when rotation is not needed.
  • An additional hand loop attachment can be added upon request.
  • The inner shaft is removable for transportation.
  • Weight: 50–75 kg.

Additional features

Please specify your requirements in the order notes:

  • Motorized rotation: + €600
  • Custom color: standard finish is matte black; gold, silver, white, and other colors are available: + €100
  • Locking latch: + €120
  • Additional table instead of the Crescent Moon: + €250
  • Wheels for easy transportation around the stage: lockable wheel, 1 pc.: + €40

Please note! After the motor is switched off, it does not immediately stop or lock the rotation of the apparatus. The apparatus will continue to rotate smoothly for a short time due to inertia before coming to a complete stop. (The speed on the remote control should be gradually reduced to zero to bring the apparatus to a complete stop).

The Freestanding Crescent Moon combines a striking visual form with smooth rotation and a practical disassembly system, making it suitable for both performances and training.
